golden corral et all...
Now, you know I don't really "do" buffets. Oh well, so we were going. My cousin Dennis was graduating so the whole dang family (dad's side) flew/drove into Ohio for the ceremony. Having never been to a place to eat with the name "corral" in it, I knew I needed to get my camera out:
On my plate: corn, biscuit, veggies, and some rando fish with sauce and rice. Oh, yes and chocolate cake, too (this is summer vacation!)
The wonderful Ohio section of the family: Aunt Barbara, Uncle Norman, Dorothy, Aunt Doris, Dennis, and some of his friends.
Aunt Doris and I- how fun!
Grandma and I : ) Is she not adorable? It is from her that I gain the culinary strength to create masterpieces such as sweet potato pie and cornbread dressing.
The verdict: Golden Corral gets 1/2 star, but time with family gets 5+
lol. The Golden Corral was my FAVORITE restaurant in 4th grade! Well, I'm glad that you had time with family to make up for the less than stellar food!
*and while you're in UT keep your eyes out for Chuck-O-Rama. It's another buffet restaurant and anytime my grandma wanted to "take us out for dinner", that's where we'd go. :)
*the new blog banner/colors look great! I'm feeling like I need to do an overhaul on mine -- I'm getting bored with it.

Okay, maybe you don't want to know this, but I always tease my parents when they go to that...um...fine eating establishment. I call it 'The Golden Trough.' :)
How fabulous is your family? And you're right...it doesn't matter where you go...as long as you're with the family.

i've never been but when we lived in Florida there were tons, it did look like an "interesting" place

lol- I was thinking the same thing as Shannon- but she beat me to the punch:} buffets have never been on my good list- but the kids love them. Great family pictures.

Golden Corral is my aunt/uncle's fav place to eat. I am not a big buffet fan, but I know you liked the rolls, right?
