creole wisdom: behind the camera, "the goods"
Photography became my muse right before I graduated from high school. Then, as a freshman, I got bored one day and felt bold enough to crack open the owner's manual for the giant, intimating Canon 20D. I am still learning, and that manual looks well loved-
Camera:
Canon 20D
Lens:
85 mm 1.8
Tripods:
Camera Bag:
Crumpler Bazillon Dollar Home (go ebay, I swear by it)
More on photography:
•I
print the majority of my pictures at home on my inexpensive/college
girl Epson printer, and I firmly believe that paper quality has more to
do with great at home prints than the actual printer. When I took
digital photography second semester 2007, I used this paper and have been hooked ever since. It delivers fantastic results.
•This wonderful woman who I have found through the blog world, Emily Falconbridge, sells amazing camera straps. I cannot wait to order one!
•Want to have your photos frameless, what if they floated off of the wall? When I have a home someday I plan on doing this. So neat.
•The best photoshop actions, in my opinion, are available here. They are great, I love their new package
•Reality of it is, I'm a student and so cash is not just falling off of trees. So, keep in mind this is a growing collection 4-5 years in the making and most of my goods are ebay finds. Ebay is like my drug, go there and score some photography toys!
